The "Chapelle des Templiers" is one of the signs of the presence of the Order of the Knights Templar in the Laon area. It was built around 1130 on this Templar site in Laon, and its octagonal, centred floor plan are reminiscent of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
It currently stands in the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum in Laon, and houses two statues of prophets (dating back to roughly 1200) which were likely part of the cathedral.
